Brad and Angelina’s kids eat McDonald’s too! The family went to get their fast food fix in Hollywood on Sunday and ordered by drive-thru. Bodyguards blocked the drive-thru while they waited for around five minutes to get their food. Brad was the driver with Angelina next to him and the kids in the back. Recently Brad told People magazine about his life as Mr. Mom. He said, “I get going early, make breakfast. Dress the kids. Brush their teeth. Take them to school.” Err…you forgot buying Happy Meals too. Do you take your kids to fast food restaurants like McDonald’s often? We usually go just so our kid can run around in the Playland.

Ever wonder what celebs do with all of their used gear? Some famous moms, like Melissa Joan Hart, have taken the opportunity to donate former favorites that their kids no longer use to handmedowns.com. Handmedowns.com is a classifieds site for parents where you can buy, sell, or donate new and gently used baby and kids gear, strollers, toys, clothes, and more. The site hosts monthly auctions where celebrities auction their items with all of the proceeds going to their charity of choice. Melissa, who has sons Mason (3) and Braydon (14 months) is surprisingly down to earth considering her early fame. In an interview about the auction, Melissa sat down with the creators of handmedowns.com, Norah Weinstein and Jane Buckingham, to talk about her favorite hand-me-downs, who she swaps toys with, and her recent yard sale. Can you believe this celebrity mom actually held her own yard sale? Keep reading for the entire interview with Melissa and handmedown.com. Handmedowns.com: What items are you donating? Melissa: I am donating my Orbit stroller system along with two moses baskets. One that was mine when I was a baby and the other one I used for both my sons. I was too afraid they would ruin my childhood moses basket so I got them a new one. The Orbit system is incredible. It’s not only sleek looking, but it is the most functional system out there. I love all the interchanging parts and the way you can swivel the baby around in the car seat and on the stroller base. This comes in very handy in tight restaurants when the baby is asleep and you don’t want to take them out. We also have a ton of toys and stuffed animals. My boys are very blessed and spoiled and I thought it was time to pass them on. Handmedowns.com: What was your favorite hand-me-down that you received? Who gave it to you? Melissa: Some of my girlfriends and I passed along toys and activity centers. It’s great that one of my best friend’s had a baby a year before Mason so when her son outgrew the toys, we got them. Then I passed them on to another fried that had a baby and then a year later I got them back for Brady. Handmedowns.com: We heard you had a yard sale! How did it go? Melissa: Yes I held my first yard sale. I can’t believe how early people get there and how much they will haggle with you over the strangest things. Although I have to admit that baby stuff does great at yard sales. Handmedowns.com: Tell us about the charity you selected for the auction — Friends of the Family in Van Nuys. Melissa: Friends of the Family is a truly exceptional organization. Everyone that works there has the warmest heart and truly just wants to help enrich people’s lives by helping in so many ways. They help abused spouses get free of the abuser. They help children that are shy find their voices. They help teen parents stay in school, find jobs and learn how to be good parents. That is just a taste of how they help our community. The auction goes live on Monday, July 27th and ends on August 5th so go to handmedowns.com to bid on some of Melissa’s favorite items including her Orbit stroller and the moses basket she used as a baby herself!

Looks like singer M.I.A. and her new son Ikhyd share a similar sense of style! The new mom showed off a pic of her adorable 5-month-old boy on Twitter last week wearing a black-and-white polka dot onesie that looks a bit like the unforgettable outfit she donned to perform at this year’s Grammy’s (on her due date!). What a cutie! Via Twitter

Proud papa Marc Anthony has big plans for his 17-month-old son Max – and they don’t involve singing! Announcing earlier this week that he’s purchased a stake in the NFL franchise the Miami Dolphins, Marc said that he sees a future in football for little Max. “There’s no question that my son Max is going to be a linebacker of some sort,” Marc mused. “He’s showing more promise every day!” It sounds like he’s not so sure of Max’s twin sister Emme’s chances of making the big leagues, though: “I think that the twins… Well, Max, anyway, has a good shot!” Marc also revealed that his wife Jennifer Lopez is all for his part-ownership of the Florida team, saying, “Jennifer loves Miami. So she’s really, really happy about this because we’re going to be spending a lot of time down there.” The family is currently house-hunting in the Sunshine State. Via US & People Photo: PR Photos
I feel there’s nothing more sacred than the magical world of children. I just want to keep kids smiling. It’s getting harder and harder to do that with what’s going on in the world — you know, people are losing their jobs, families are tense. So any chance I get to make a movie that the whole family can look forward to and share with their children, I’m going to take it.

Such a busy week we’ve had amongst our fellow celebrity parents! In the past week we saw Angie Everhart welcome a son, Cat Cora welcome a son, Paz Vega welcomed a daughter, and Kelis welcome son Knight…as well as win big in court!
Brad Pitt’s plans to cut back on sex scenes didn’t sit well with many of our readers, and not just because they’ll be missing the show! Bobbi commented, “OK Brad…set a strong example for those kids won’t you. Maybe if you had foregone the Mr and Mrs Smith sex scenes and had such a high moral standard then you would not have all those lovely children with the woman who you left your wife for. Hypocrite!”
Reader Laurel seemed to concur with my feelings on the crazy email Tori Spelling’s mom sent to a celebrity news site. Laurel commented, “If this was my mom, she would be cut out of my life. Lordy what a psycho.”
The hair style of the week went hands-down to Melanie Brown’s daughter Angel, who is now rocking a mohawk! Most of our readers were horrified, and a few said ‘it’s just hair, it will grow back,’ but it was reader Reswhite who had me cracking up by saying, “I pity the fool who gives a two year old baby girl a mowhawk.”
Have I ever told you that we love hearing what you have to say? Keep it coming!

Is Jon Gosselin getting his own reality show? E! Online reports that the Ed Hardy wearing dad is busy networking deals. An insider revealed, “Jon has a lot of things going on now with his career.” The source added, “Of course his main concern is his children, but he is focusing on his private and his professional life. He is looking into some major international endorsement deals and it looks like he is going to have his own show.” With thirty more episodes to film on Jon & Kate Plus 8, how will he have the time?
Meanwhile, Jon claims he is not with anyone right now.
“At this point … I’m single – per se,” he told People at the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge on Saturday. “I’m just a regular guy who just wants to have friendship and good times. And I like meeting people.” A Jon Plus 8 reality show? Would you watch? Via eonline.com and People
Emily Procter is looking forward to hearing the pitter-patter of little feet. Though she seems to be single at the moment, the CSI: Miami star tells E! that she’d love to have a baby – and soon!
“I am hoping this is my year to have children,” the 40-year-old actress says. “I understand that I am possibly more European in my views of marriage. I am not going to say I’m not going to get married, but it’s not my priority.”
If she gets her wish, Emily says she thinks the baby bump should be worked into the storyline for her CSI character Calleigh Duquesne. “I think the Eric [Adam Rodriguez] and Calleigh story will work nicely if this is my year to get pregnant, and hopefully it will be.” Via E! Photo: PR Photos
