Event Description: Ever wanted to dance at a reception, or formal dance? Or been out with friends and wanted to swing around the dance floor together but just weren't quite sure how to do the steps? If so, this is the meetup to join. Beginning East Coast Swing dance lessons are offered Tuesdays 7:15 – 9:00 pm at Redding Fitness (on C Street just off of Hartnell Ave between Bechelli Lane and the freeway overpass) by Ron and Faith Lane, Instructors. Classes are $5.00 per person. Bring a parter, or a friend, or just yourself. Maybe you will meet someone there who is also ready to learn some new steps and have fun doing it! Dance styles progress each week through the month, with a new style offered the following month. The instructors review a little from the previous week so you don't have to worry too much if you miss a session. This is a fun group. The overall class size varies from 30 to 50 with only a small portion of the students coming from our meetup group. The instructors are very professional, very friendly, and luckily (for some of us, anyway) very patient. Come join us for 4 weeks of FUN and just try it! If you like to dance, or would like to learn, you will LOVE the class. Plus, you get a little exercise in. They don't call it Danceaerobics for Nothing!! We will be meeting near the aerobics room inside the fitness center, with classes starting at 7:15 PM. Come on in!! Try to bring exact change, if possible. The instructors do not keep a lot of bills at class. It gets warm in there…
