I just wanted to say “Thank You” to everyone for your hard work at the annual Shasta Gem and Mineral show in May at the fairgrounds! We had a great turnout and it was the biggest show yet. Don’t forget about our annual picnic this Friday, June 11th at 6pm at the gazebo in Anderson River Park. The barbeque is a potluck with the Shasta Gem and Mineral Society providing hotdogs, hamburgers, buns and the “fixins” so don’t forget to bring a picnic-style side dish to share, your plate and utensils, chair and bug spray! There will be a great auction following the barbeque…bring your rocks to donate for a great cause and bring your money if you want to join in on the auction. If you have any questions about the picnic or interest in joining the club you can contact Steve at 530.365.4000.
Join us for the Shasta Gem and Mineral Society’s Annual Picnic and fundraiser! It is a potluck at “The Gazebo” at Anderson River Park on June 11th beginning at 6:30pm. The club supplies hotdogs, hamburgers and “the fixins” you just bring your favorite side or dessert.
We will have an annual auction after dinner so bring your lawn chair, tableware, cash or checkbook auction item if you want to donate something for a good cause!
